Hello~ I'm MAERI KIM who was born & grew up in Seoul, Korea. I have lived in the Philippines for 6 years(2013-2018). While I was staying there, I was working as a private guide for Koreans. Due to the COVID, I've been back in Korea. Being a tour guide was the most suitable job ever I had, so I've got a tour guide license in Korea. I love to meet new people and love to have new experiences. I respect other cultures and love to learn about them.
Family-friendly: I have 2 children - a girl who's 20 years & a boy who's 17 years. So I can handle unexpected circumstances such as baby crying, yelling, or urgent visits to the toilet. ;) And I'm living with my parents aged 70s. I can adjust the itinerary if my clients are seniors.

Yongsan Area- Understanding Korean History from the beginning to the latest
Overview of your Seoul tour:
There are several places to know about Korea. I strongly recommend National Museum to understand Korean History from the prehistoric to the latest Kingdom, Joseon. Also I suggest War Memorial. It's good place to appreciate to all who had lots of effort and sacrifice for peace in Korea. If your family involves with the Korean War, you might find the name on the wall. Yongsan Family Park is connected with the National Museum, easy to access to take a walk

- During the Japanese colonial period, the park was used as a Japanese military facility from 1906 to the liberation of Korea in 1945. It was part of the US military base Yongsan Garrison, the headquarters of the US military in South Korea after the Korean war, including the base golf course. In December 1988, efforts began to convert the area into a civilian park via a presidential decree. The park opened in November 1992.
